Tour Highlights
Discover the highlights of South Korea with this 8-night itinerary. You will begin your journey in the buzzing capital of Seoul where you will enjoy a full day escorted tour with your Guide who will help immerse you in this fantastic city. Visit the iconic district of Gangnam and shop in the renown Nandaemun market. Whilst in Seoul, take a fascinating guided tour of the DMZ at the border between North and South Korea. Then, move on to Busan, the second largest city of South Korea, which has lots to offer, from beaches to mouth-watering food, all in a laid-back atmosphere. Whilst here do not miss the picturesque Gamcheon Culture Village with its colourful painted houses. On the way back to Seoul, stop in Jeonju, an old village where you will stay in a hanok - a traditional Korean guesthouse.
DAILY ITINERARY

Day 1- 2: UK – Seoul
Fly overnight from London Heathrow to Seoul. On arrival, take airport express train to Seoul (1hr) and check in to a 3* hotel in central Seoul for 4 nights.
Day 3: Seoul
After breakfast, join a full escorted day tour of Seoul and visit the the Gyeongbokgung Palace. Formerly, the many residences of the Josein Dynasty, it was built in 1395. Here you can take in the regular changing of the guard. Other sights of interest include the National Folk Museum of Korea and Changdeokgung Palace with its colour designs walls. Lunch is included today.


Day 4: Seoul
Start the day Gangnam style with a visit to this iconic district, the epicentre of cutting-edge Korean fashion. Later today, move on to Nandaemun Market, an extensive network of stalls, shops and stores selling everything under the sun. This is a fantastic place to explore and discover, offering some delicious street food and bargain prices.
Day 5: DMZ Day Trip
Today join a full escorted day tour as you head north to visit one of the last remnants of the Cold War namely the Demilitarised-Zone (DMZ) between North and South Korea.


Day 6: Seoul to Busan
After a high-speed train ride from Seoul, you’ll arrive in Busan. You will stay here for two nights in a 3* hotel. In Busan we suggest a visit to Haedong Yonggungsa Temple. Spend the rest of the evening at leisure.
Day 7: Busan
Today start your day at Dalmaji-gil Road, located behind the famous Haeundae Beach. Then head to Dongbaek Island, where you will see the Nurimaru APEC House, with its mix of traditional Korean and contemporary architecture. Other sights not to be missed include the Oryukdo Skywalk and the Busan Cinema Centre.


Day 8: Busan to Jeonju
Transfer to atmospheric Jeonju where you can immerse yourself in this renowned hanok village. You will stay in traditional guesthouse tonight.
Day 9: Jeonju to Seoul
Today return to Seoul for your final night in South Korea. You might want to close your visit to this lovely country singing at one of the many karaokes in the city!

Day 10: Departure
After breakfast, transfer to Incheon Airport by train from where you will depart.
